Hello Eric, I am currently reading The Woodward Academy - on year 4.  Just wanted to send a quick note and say that I am thoroughly enjoying what you've put together.
Thanks for your efforts and keep up the good works.  This is the first story I've read of yours and I'm sure when I finish I'll try another.  Have a great day,
-johnny

Your Woodward books are by far the most entertaining set I have read on this site!  I do however have one question.  Lol, now call me fickle, I suppose, but in this chapter, after David introduces his blood bank potion to the lamias, they ask if the potion will even work on him.  He tells them yes, temporarily, or something along those lines.  Well, that got me thinking.  How exactly did he get erections, if he had no blood?

David is a magical creature. He was created by magic. Magic is how he got erections.

How did he do anything but lie on the ground and rot, with no blood?  How did his body not suffer continuous cramps without blood to carry away the lactic acid in his muscles?  How did his brain function without the oxygen that blood would have carried to it?  How did his cells have the energy to move without the blood supplying glucose to them?

The answer to all of this, of course, is that David is a magical creature, and magical creatures do not follow the rules of normal biology.  How do pegs fly on wings that are much too small?  Magically.  How do mermaids breathe without gills?  Magically.  How does David get an erection without blood to cause it?  Magically.

If you cannot, or do not wish to, use PayPal, but you still want to make a donation, you can use one of the methods below:

Why Donate?

You may be wondering why you should bother donating to some guy on the internet that you don't know.

I'm not going to lie: I don't really need donations to keep the site running. The site costs me less than $20 a month. Though donation money does go to pay those bills, the primary need is elsewhere.

I am disabled, and live on a fixed income. I also own an old house that is beginning to have "issues". The appliances inside the home also seem to want to break frequently.

On top of that, I live in a place prone to hurricanes, which not only means worrying about the house falling down every summer, I have to worry about being able to handle evacuations and things like that.

The point is, the donations aren't for the site. They're to keep me fed, clothed, and housed, and also allow me a little bit of discretionary spending, instead of having to watch every dime to make sure I don't go over budget that month.

So What Do I Get for Donating?

Not a goddamned thing. Let me be crystal clear: Making a donation does not entitle you to anything at all. Donations are a gift, not a payment for a service or product.

That being said, I do like to say thank you to those who support me. I usually do that by granting special access to the website. What does "special access" mean? Well, not a whole lot, but it means you have extra file formats to download stories in, and it also gives you access to "PRM" content.

What is PRM content? PRM stands for "Pre-Release Material". It is stuff that you are allowed to read before it goes public. How long before it goes public is up to each author that chooses to participate in the PRM system.

In conclusion, if you want to help keep me funded and happy, please make a donation by your preferred method of those listed above.

And thank you in advance.
