Update for October 29, 2021:
Artfiacts 2: The Coin, Chapter 5, and Epilogue, have both been made public. This (obviously) completes this story.
For those who had PRM access: There was a minor change at the end of the Epilogue, so if you have downloaded a copy of this story for your offline perusal, you might want to re-download the Epilogue.

Well, I didn't get any writing done, but I got a writing TOOL done...
Just finished (at least to a working state... still some bells & whistles I want to add) a calendar-creator for my stories. I have found calendars to be a bit more useful to me than outlines in planning my stories... though I still use outlines, too, just in a different stage of the planning.
This will be one of several utilities available to other authors if I ever manage to get the next version of the website written. (If I live to be 107, I might actually manage...)

Update for November 17, 2021:
Agent of Change, Chapter 13, is finished and with the reviewers.
After a 3 1/2 month hiatus, I broke my dry spell with a 3,000-word writing day. Here's to hoping this isn't just my muse being a fucking tease.

Don't get too excited: Chapter 13 ended in such a way as to make the start of Chapter 14 very easy to pull off. Continuing on from this point may be more difficult.

Um... not necessarily.
There are any number of ways that one chapter can lead directly into the one that follows.
A cliffhanger is one of them, yes, but not the only one.
Of course, now you have to wonder if I'm trying to tell you it's not a cliffhanger, or if I'm turning this conversation into a cliffhanger by not telling you whether or not it's a cliffhanger...
