Giving your story A NAME might be a good idea.

For the record, you can still get to it from pepsiguy's "See My Stuff" page.  Double-click on the blank line that appears at the top of the Serial/Novel list, and it will take you to the page.

But yes, obviously, a title would be much preferable.  When I designed the site, it never once occurred to me that someone might not give their story a title.  In the morning (I'm going to bed in a minute), if pepsiguy hasn't fixed this himself, I will go into the database and rename this as "Untitled Story", as I've already done with this thread.

Re: Emily's New Teaching Job

Sorry again Eric. I posted the message, then for some unknown reason I hit it again, causing the double post. I would have deleted the extra message but didn't know how. I figured it was an admin job. So, thank you for keeping on top of this old man's screw ups.

Re: Emily's New Teaching Job

IF you have the ability to delete a post (I don't think you do), it would be in the little menu in the lower right-hand corner of the post, between "Report" and "Edit".

No worries.  People accidentally double-post regularly.  It's not like it's a big deal to delete messages.  I just like picking on people when they make trivial goofs.  misch_smiley

I can see California going this way. And sadly most people have a price where they stop thinking.

Re: Emily's New Teaching Job

Unfortunately, I live in CA and have for over 60 years. I've seen the slow caving of the majority to the rights of a few. I'm not saying everyone shouldn't be treated fairly and with dignity irregardless of the political or sexual beliefs. This story maybe a little bit out there, but in CA, anything now days is possible. I hope everyone will enjoy my near future predictions.

Re: Emily's New Teaching Job

Well pepsiguy1 I hope your predictions do not prove to be so accurate as some of Robert Heinlein's.

Re: Emily's New Teaching Job

This is fiction. Problem is, what was pure fiction that could never happen in the fifties, is now common place. Never read any of Robert Heinlein's. I'll have to check them out.

Re: Emily's New Teaching Job

I recommend starship troopers. His predictions about the decay of family values and the emergence of criminal minors was pretty scary in its accuracy considering it was a fictional history course.

Sorry about the chapter mix up. I removed both chapter 6 posting and re posted a slightly revised chapter 6. I will try hard not to screw things up again.

Re: Emily's New Teaching Job

Sorry about the the delay in posting. A lot of stuff going on in my life. I've been trying to finish up the next chapter with Julie's new life and am somewhat stuck. I think I'll start on the next chapter of Emily's new teaching job soon, as I have a better idea of how the next chapter will go. Thanks for your patience. I just saw the next chapter of the long awaited, Potential, has been posted. I will start after I've read it.
