Re: Agent of Change

DAMN! when you write, you write.  You touched on so many areas and opened up more to explore. My mind is already trying to see which direction all the twists and plot lines will go.  Worth the wait I guess...  but I want more...lol

Thank you.

Re: Agent of Change

Great chapter. As Zmaybe said there was a lot of things happening in the chapter. Going to have to reread it right away to make sure I didn’t miss/gloss over anything. Tala must be really happy as it’s seemed as there was more of her influence than there has been recently. Bridget parts were done well too and looking forward more of the story next month.

Glad you're enjoying the story.  BTW, in regards to your previous comment about being married too long to know any single ladies:  You know, I did say "relative"... did you disassociate from your family when you got married?

Re: Agent of Change

Eric, your writing is addictive. I start with a few minutes to spare, figuring I will read a bit now and the rest later.  And then I am reading the last words and wondering how I got through it all in one sitting.  Jeesh, wish my brain worked half as well as yours.  You framed a theme of sorts in the start of the story, then through the chapters you added and let the life of Nick unfo;d and expand.  I admit it, I am addicted and hope this story never ends.  Thank you for sharing your gift.

Re: Agent of Change

Sigh. So much of the bad I can sympathyze with, so little of the good. Well, at least I don't have enemies even close to the FBI & Mob's league after me... And I *STILL* envy the heck out of this guy!

Naturally, of course. After all, the point of most fiction is to portray lives you find fascinating, if not also eminently desirable.  And we have a pretty dang good example, here, of that last.  And for more than just all the hook-ups thrown Nick's way; frankly, I'm more interested in how it's gonna play out once his tech actually gets out into general society! [Okay, all those hook-ups are dang fun diversions until then...]

Entertaining stuff, Eric. Thanks much!

Glad you're enjoying the story.  At least a couple people are...

I believe in stories as temporary escapism.  I've never been one for social commentary in my work.  If I wanted more reality, I'd just look around.  What I want is for reality to go away for awhile.  I'm glad that appeals to you, too.

Re: Agent of Change

Can’t wait to find out more about Barbara; both her past and future. Hoping we will be seeing something between Nick and his principal in the next few chapters as Nick seems to need another way to get rid of his tension which looks to be growing at a large rate. As always I enjoyed the chapter.

I will say that you will certainly see the principal in the next chapter.  Exactly what you see of her, you'll have to wait for, but there will definitely be some interaction going on there.

Re: Agent of Change

Eric, your writing is deeply imaginative.  Not sure where it comes from, but I am glad you are able to let it flow out of your mind into the text we get to enjoy.  Thanks and looking forward to more soon.

That's easy.  I'm schizophrenic.  3dlol

(Sorry, the voices in my head told me to say that...)

I'm glad you enjoy the stories.  I've been making up stories to tell friends, or just to entertain myself, since I was a child, so... 40+ years of experience.  Basically, I just never turned my imagination off when I got to be an adult.  I just changed the subject matter.

Re: Agent of Change

Damn that chapter had a huge tone shift part way through. Was doing a lot of laughing before the mole showed up and after that mostly wiping the tears from my eyes. Hoping that the person recovers from the incident. Hate these chapters that really leave me hanging. Great work hope you are able to write more soon.

Yeah, they're cute little buggers, ain't they?  Always digging around and twitching their little noses...

Okay, so this issue has bugged me long enough.  My fix is not great, but it will hopefully help some people.

I have created a new BBCode for the forum, called "spoiler".  The code here:

Code:

[spoiler]I am text that is initially hidden, so you won't be able to read me without
making an intentional choice.[/spoiler]

Produces this effect:

Spoilers! (Click here to view...)I am text that is initially hidden, so you won't be able to read me without making an intentional choice.

This is made simple by a new element in HTML5 called "details".  The technical...er... details... 3dangel ... aren't important, just realize that this would have been a lot trickier to do just a couple years ago.

I will make a site-wide announcement about the addition, and information about it has been added to the BBCode help page.

PLEASE NOTE:  This custom BBCode is case-sensitive.  It must be typed in all-lowercase, or it will not work.
