This is very intriguing so far.  I like the diary format as an opener... and now I need to move on to the next chapter to see how this diary was discovered and translated, I think/hope.  The editing and grammar was very good.  I don't read much online anymore, but I have enjoyed this story so far and I hope you continue it and that this message leaves you much encouraged.  More people should be reading this and giving an opinion.  So says me, and I'm the bar wench... I should know.

thank you Black Rose.  Corvis and Mandorin helped me alot.  Corvis did the editing.  I owe them both a lot for all their help.

Thank you, Triton.  You give me too much credit and too little to yourself.

Nice so far. I like the style of dialogue, and the discriptions. You may wish to at some point consider adding a tiny bit more discription about the beast here, just to further invest your readers. While I'm drawn in to read the next chapter I could be completely addicted.

Good job so far,

I'm glad that you liked the prologue of my story.  I hope that you like the next 2 chapters too, but I might need to do some work on them to make them better.

If you cannot, or do not wish to, use PayPal, but you still want to make a donation, you can use one of the methods below:

Why Donate?

You may be wondering why you should bother donating to some guy on the internet that you don't know.

I'm not going to lie: I don't really need donations to keep the site running. The site costs me less than $20 a month. Though donation money does go to pay those bills, the primary need is elsewhere.

I am disabled, and live on a fixed income. I also own an old house that is beginning to have "issues". The appliances inside the home also seem to want to break frequently.

On top of that, I live in a place prone to hurricanes, which not only means worrying about the house falling down every summer, I have to worry about being able to handle evacuations and things like that.

The point is, the donations aren't for the site. They're to keep me fed, clothed, and housed, and also allow me a little bit of discretionary spending, instead of having to watch every dime to make sure I don't go over budget that month.

So What Do I Get for Donating?

Not a goddamned thing. Let me be crystal clear: Making a donation does not entitle you to anything at all. Donations are a gift, not a payment for a service or product.

That being said, I do like to say thank you to those who support me. I usually do that by granting special access to the website. What does "special access" mean? Well, not a whole lot, but it means you have extra file formats to download stories in, and it also gives you access to "PRM" content.

What is PRM content? PRM stands for "Pre-Release Material". It is stuff that you are allowed to read before it goes public. How long before it goes public is up to each author that chooses to participate in the PRM system.

In conclusion, if you want to help keep me funded and happy, please make a donation by your preferred method of those listed above.

And thank you in advance.
