Thank you, Xaiverphoenix89.  I'm happy that you enjoyed the first two chapters of TTGB.  I hope that you will enjoy chapter three as much and that my continued efforts will be as enjoyable.

Thank you, Txthumper.  I hope that you will continue to enjoy the story.  By the way, I posted corrections to the first three chapters.  I'm sure there are lots of errors I missed, but I hope that I fixed some of the worst grammar mistakes.

Hello. NemesisQ

Sorry to have kept you up, but I'm very happy that you enjoyed the chapter smile  I hope the wait for the next update will not be so long as this one was.

I also liked this chapter, although I had several distractions that kept me from reading it with anything resembling promptness.  Keep up the good work, don't get discouraged, write more... :-)

INSANELY EFFING GOOD. My typical evil-overlord response would be to threaten you with disembowelment or another hideous punishment if you don't GIVE ME THE REST ALL RIGHT NOW; however, I've found that that isn't a good way to get authors to do anything (except kill the main characters to spite you), so I'll settle for giving you a high five and ominous smile.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you, Circum.  I'm very pleased that you are enjoying the story so much.  I am working on the new chapter as rapidly as I can, which isn't as fast as I'd like, but one must do one's best and hope it is enough.

By the way, which character did you want me to kill to spite you?  big_smile

Thank you, Timotheos.  I'm working on the next chapter now, and I hope to have it done before too much longer.  I hope my future efforts will prove as enjoyable.

Sorry didn't do feedback on each chapter. Had to read the whole thing at one sitting. The story pulled me in and kept going. Chapter 1 reminded me of my sophmore year in high school when I put one of the jocks in the hospital with a ruptured spleen, from about 20 gut shots with both fists in less than a minute. I was only 5'1" 140lbs. Please keep it rolling!

nice story, and i really don't like it when people tell the writer to work faster, but I must say I was tempted to.  instead I well settle for asking if i should wait expectantly, aka check every day, or just wait normally.

I don't know how I missed reading this before.
Excellent story with enough scope to grow into ongoing series.
Sad to see it has stopped prematurely.

The last I heard, this author - who used to be a close friend of mine - is no longer on the Internet.  (How he survives that way is beyond me.)  I have not actually spoken to him in at least 15 years or more.  I actually met him face-to-face once, but have since completely lost touch.

All this is to say, no, the author is no longer around.

sad

Another pretty decent story that doesn't finish. Has anyone found any more of this anywhere else?

Corvis is no longer on the Internet, and hasn't been for a VERY long time.

If you cannot, or do not wish to, use PayPal, but you still want to make a donation, you can use one of the methods below:

Why Donate?

You may be wondering why you should bother donating to some guy on the internet that you don't know.

I'm not going to lie: I don't really need donations to keep the site running. The site costs me less than $20 a month. Though donation money does go to pay those bills, the primary need is elsewhere.

I am disabled, and live on a fixed income. I also own an old house that is beginning to have "issues". The appliances inside the home also seem to want to break frequently.

On top of that, I live in a place prone to hurricanes, which not only means worrying about the house falling down every summer, I have to worry about being able to handle evacuations and things like that.

The point is, the donations aren't for the site. They're to keep me fed, clothed, and housed, and also allow me a little bit of discretionary spending, instead of having to watch every dime to make sure I don't go over budget that month.

So What Do I Get for Donating?

Not a goddamned thing. Let me be crystal clear: Making a donation does not entitle you to anything at all. Donations are a gift, not a payment for a service or product.

That being said, I do like to say thank you to those who support me. I usually do that by granting special access to the website. What does "special access" mean? Well, not a whole lot, but it means you have extra file formats to download stories in, and it also gives you access to "PRM" content.

What is PRM content? PRM stands for "Pre-Release Material". It is stuff that you are allowed to read before it goes public. How long before it goes public is up to each author that chooses to participate in the PRM system.

In conclusion, if you want to help keep me funded and happy, please make a donation by your preferred method of those listed above.

And thank you in advance.
