Weird question, everyone...
So I was watching an episode of SciShow (it's a channel over on YouTube about sciency stuff), and they were talking about people's "inner voice"... and I was rather shocked to find out that not everyone "talks" in their thoughts. I will admit that virtually every thought I have, unless it is intentionally visual or a daydream, is just me, talking things out in my head. Often I will actually vocalize (in other words, actually talk to myself), because for some reason it actually helps me think more clearly.
So... just a nice, unscientific survey: Do you guys talk in your thoughts most of the time? Or are most of your thoughts just imagery and "concepts", rather than actual sentences?

Talk, But I hate it when I talk to myself and lose the argument.

Talk. Absolutely.

Josh: You always lose the argument.
But you also always win the argument. Just got to focus on the appropriate portion of you that's arguing.

It is like playing checkers with yourself the game is rigged. You still have to watch for cheating though

I talk to myself constantly but have the opposite issue where I can't really visualize things.

ChiefRock:
Playing checkers with yourself without "cheating" is actually pretty easy, especially if you follow the rules, which require you to make a jump if it's available. You just have to actually play each side as if you want it to win. Trouble is trying to out-think yourself.

No Eric the trouble is knowing exactly what your opponent is thinking and planning and trying to not let it affect your moves. Also you both have the same ability and intelligence
Offline
Well, you know, given that you thought it up... you should be able to deduce what your opponent is planning through their moves.

Checkers isn't so bad.
CHESS, now, is another story.

Oh, c'mon, now you know when you play yourself in chess, your sorry ass is in no way good enough to beat that awesome bastard that is your opponent.

Constant conversation going on in my head.

Are you going to continue Woodward Academy because it has been my favorite by you more than any other

Eric has said in the past that while he is likely to write more stories using that setting, he will not be writing about David after Woodward Year 8 is done.
Offline
To expand on what Icehawk said, which is mostly correct, IF I write anything further where David is the main character, it would be part of an anthology of short stories showing David's life as it progresses into the future. It would not be a novel.
I do, however, have other story ideas in the Dugerraverse, and those you will probably see in the future. But book 8 is the last of the Stroud novels.
