Eric, I love Agent of Change. I am currently reading 6 sifi deries stories on line. I check them for updates weekly, except Agent of Change, I check that at least once or twice daily. Such an inventive tale.  You build the plot, the characters, and the twists with a lot of depth and heart. This is in my humble opinion, the Best story I have read.  Sure minor spelling and grammar issues, but damn you keep me coming back for more.  Thanks and I hope this story never ends.

Well if you go to Chapter 11 you will find this:

"Nick Shilling, this is Angelo Fattore, and his daughter, Emma."

"Sir.  Ma'am," David said formally.  He didn't offer to shake any hands.  "Would you care to sit down?" he offered.

I think you cross contaminated your stories. I wouldn't have noticed but I was reading it out loud to my wife and noticed it. Twisting your tail aside I am really enjoying the book and most of the ones I like on your site are the ones you write. Have a good one.

I'd also like to point out that that is neither a spelling error, nor a grammatical one.

If you feel like I didn't meet your expectation, then you must know what your expectation was.  What direction did you think the story was going in?

But your very next sentence is:

I do know the direction the story went was not what I was thinking it was going to be.

These statements directly contradict one another.  In order for the direction of the story to not be "what [you] [were] thinking it was going to be", two things have to happen:

1. You have an expectation of where the story is going,
and
2. I didn't go there.  That is, I did not meet that expectation.

So, my question is, as to point 1: what was your expectation of where the story was going?  You have to have had some kind of expectation of where it was going, otherwise I could not have gone in a direction different from what you were expecting, because you wouldn't have been expecting anything.

Oh you did not just do that.  You wait till the climax then blue balled us.  Now we have to wait for the climax again.  Sheesh.  Bitching about the end aside it was as great as always.  Keep it up. HEHEHEHE

Nick's not a murderer.  Leaving the average person suspended for more than a couple hours will likely kill them.
