Story Statistics Issue
I noted that about a week or so ago that the download counts on the Stats pages for User and Story don't match. I have the one story and the User Stats page shows the downloads for my story as 1000 more downloads than is on the page that lists the stats for the specific story. The page that shows the story specific stats lost a number of downloads about the time I noted the change. (So I believe the "User stats" is the right number)
The story page that users see shows the higher stats from the User page with the proper median and total download counts which further supports that page has the right numbers and the story stats page in the Author tools is the wrong number.
Not sure if this was a glitch somewhere in the counts process, or if there was a error somewhere that caused this, but just wanted to point it out so you were aware of it.

Believe me, I'm aware of it. The stats page is virtually useless. It was based on a storage technique that was, to be blunt, idiotic. (And yes, it was MY storage technique, so I can call it that.)
Until I redo the site, those stats will always be inaccurate. To fix them would require re-writing the entire stats system infrastructure, which is... well, why it's not going to happen. The amount of work that would require, without completely breaking it, would get me a significant way toward finishing the new version of the site.
