(Book 2) Life in San Diego

(Book 2) Life in San Diego

This is the direct continuation of the Saving Sister Sue series.  It will depict the lives of Dan Sue and friends after leaving Virginia for San Diego.  I hope everyone continues to enjoy this story.  In this book I will not be devoting a chapter to each day.  Please let me know what you think by commenting and rating this next book.
Thank you
Sincerely,
Snake_eater1960

Re: (Book 2) Life in San Diego

Might want to fix the title, since the name of the city is not "Sandiego", but "San Diego"...

I usually do not post here because my spelling sucks. My skills at writing are very poor but the first book was great. This one seems to be right in it's foot steps. Please keep it up. This story is GREAT!!

Re: (Book 2) Life in San Diego

Now that there is a regular daily routine on weekdays, (work, school), maybe gloss over those times and focus instead on new events, activities.

I am otherwise hooked on this storyline.

I am loving this entire saga. I have some story line thoughts and wonder when you will come up with the same ideas. The stories are easy to read and keep enough going to hold us. Keep up the good work! Thanks!

Re: (Book 2) Life in San Diego

If you have ideas for a story, don't wait for the author to come up with them on their own.  People don't think the same way, and so your ideas may never occur to them.  If you like your ideas, then give them to the author, and let them decide whether they like your ideas better than their own.  I couldn't even begin to tell you how many of my readers have had their ideas incorporated into my stories.  But if we, as authors, never hear your ideas, then there's no way for us to include them.

Thank You Johnnycat69 and Dadrepus!  I'm happy to hear you are enjoying these stories.

Dadrepus I am currently editing chapter 10 and working on Chapter 11 of Book2.  I plan on continuing this series through to completion and comments like these help to keep me motivated to keep writing.

Thanks to both of you again.

Re: (Book 2) Life in San Diego

UH, WHAT HAPPENED TO CHAPTER 13 of Book 2?  We went from 12 to 14 and some conversations talk about things 'out of the blue', like a BONANZA twin engine.

Thank you for pointing that out I have now posted Chapter 13 and apologize for the mistake.  I'm not sure how to fix the order of how they are posted though.  Eric if you can do anything to fix the order please do so.

Re: (Book 2) Life in San Diego

The order is now fixed.  Thank you again Miken67 for pointing out my screw up and I apologize to my readers for fouling it up.  Life has been quite hectic for me this last month or so and I just didn't pay enough attention when I posted the last two chapters.

Sincerely

Re: (Book 2) Life in San Diego

Dear Snake_Eater
please continue writting about Dan and Sues ( and everyone elses) adventures. I love reading your stories, it's engrossing, the action and sex scenes are pretty well written and fun to read. I loved the first book and even more love this second book.

I'm looking forward to you continuing the story 3dbig_smile

Best regards
Alex Rider

Re: (Book 2) Life in San Diego

(In response to the author's request for advice on whether to continue or end the story here)

The plot seems to be winding its way to an inevitable conclusion; although there's discussion of changing the security system, as far as I can tell the last real threat was back in Chapter 11. You've made it to a landmark date (Christmas) and resolved most other plot threads I can think of. For this book at least, it feels like the natural progression is to add one more chapter covering the return to San Diego and call it there, and if you're planning on being done with the series another chapter covering Dan finally formally leaving the service to permanently relocate to the island.

However, you've built up quite the stable of capable and well-developed characters, with plenty of opportunity to either expand or retrench. There's only been, what, one rotation at BUDS? Are there going to be additional consequences for Jeff's team capturing pedophiles and dropping them off at the Hells' Angels? Will the new planned security system get used in anger, or will the old version see one last hurrah, as gruesome as forethought? What kind of young adult will Amore blossom into? If you're up for writing another book, I'd definitely be on board as a reader with exploring one or more of these issues.
