A widow returns to her house after being disappointed by a talk she planned to attend being canceled, one she was looking forward to hearing. Later, she thanked the water main break that caused the cancellation.

Hah! I quite liked this.
It required a bit more 'willing suspension of disbelief' than normal, but hey, that's not unexpected here at the Wolfpub :-)

The site has been greatly altering the text of Beth for the most recent four chapters (167-170), turning various non-letter characters into question marks. I have asked for clarification from wolfpub. My preference is to take down the four chapters, but I need Eric to see the problem in hopes he has ideas on a fix. I will not be publishing additional chapters until I/we can get this solved.
I apologize for the reading difficulty and hope to get this solved quickly.
